Fiddler on the Roof is a musical set in Russia in 1905. The story follows Tevye and his daughters who are characters from Sholem Aleichem’s tales. Set in a Tsarist Russia, the story shows Tevye’s attempt to keep his Jewish traditions that go against the Tsar and his struggle with his rebellious older daughters.

When the musical first hit the stage in 1964, it surpassed 3,000 performances, holding the longest running show until Grease.

The current production will be produced by Jeffery Richards and Jerry Frankel, directed by Barlett Sher. The cast has not yet been announced.
