Have you heard? There’s a brand new Thor: The Dark World poster out today! If you weren’t excited for this epic sequel already, you will be now…especially if you’re a fan of the windswept and angsty look on Chris Hemsworth.

Let me tell you, the guy is looking really good in this poster, but there’s a whole lot more going on. Arguably the most exciting part is our getting a really good look at Christopher Eccelston‘s Malekith the Accursed. We’ve seen a few stealthy production shots here and there, but nothing head on. And yeah, this guy is more than a little bit scary. It’s the eyes. Chris Eccelston is really very good at doing crazy eyes, and this poster is Exhibit A.

In addition to Hemsworth and Eccelston, we get more familiar faces. There is, of course, Loki (looking totally cray cray, I might add), Lady Sif (and the Warriors Three, of course), Odin, and Heimdall (standing on a cloud, watching you like a boss).

What we don’t see is Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje as Algrim/Kurse. In fact, we’ve seen neither hide nor hair of that particular baddie. Is anyone else incredibly excited to see him?
