Enlisted will march into a new primetime slot this week.
Fox confirmed Tuesday that the well-reviewed comedy will move into the Friday-at-9/8c spot, following Bones.
Enlisted will switch timeslots with Raising Hope, which will now follow Enlisted at 9:30/8:30c.
The show, starring Geoff Stults and Chris Lowell, follows three brothers in the US Army. The characters are all stationed at the same fictional Florida military base (Fort McGee). Instead of being deployed overseas, the two younger brothers (Derrick and Randy) are assigned to rear detachment and left behind to take care of the base. The oldest brother, Pete, is demoted and ordered to return from Afghanistan to Fort McGee after punching a superior officer. He is assigned to supervise a group of misfits, including his brothers.

Although the show’s modest ratings since its debut earlier this month put a damper on its debut, Fox still has a reason to stay hopeful. The show’s premiere demo rating jump 86 percent after factoring in DVR numbers.
