Good news, Potterheads! The much anticipated stage sequel to the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, finally has its Harry, Ron and Hermione!

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child takes place 19 years after the last book and sees a more seasoned trio of magical friends. Harry will be played by Jamie Parker, a 36-year-old actor and singer whose stage credits include The History Boys, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Proof and High Society.
Ron Weasley has been announced as Paul Thornley, who has appeared in Les Miserables, the television series Doc Martin and lent his voice to the video game Witcher 3. And South-African born Noma Dumezweni, 45, is The Cursed Child’s Hermione. Dumezweni won the Laurence Olivier Award For Best Performance In A Supporting Role in 2006 for her part in A Raisin In The Sun. The actress has also appeared in Doctor Who and can currently be seen on the stage in Linda at the Royal Court in London.

The play has already sold 175,000 seats in only 24 hours, setting record numbers for The West End theater district. The Cursed Child will be shown in two parts. Audiences can attend a matinee and evening showing or consecutive nights in a week.
