Good news for fans of he who lives in a pineapple under the sea.
Paramount has slated two of its upcoming animated films for release in 2015, one of these being Spongebob Squarepants 2, which will be release on February 13th 2015.
Produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Animation, the movie stars the voices we all know from the popular cartoon: Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown and Carolyn Lawrence.
Other projects announced includedThe Longest Ride, the next film adaptation from the books of author Nicholas Sparks [The Notebook], set to open on Valentine’s Day weekend.
Monster Trucks, a new CGI/live-action film that the studio hopes will become aTransformers-like franchise, will open in theaters on May 29th.

DreamWorks Animation will release a new animated film,B.O.O (Bureau of Otherworldly Operations)one week afterMonster Trucks, on June 5th. Other animated films from DreamWorks and Fox include spinoffThe Penguins of Madagascar[March 27th] andKung Fu Panda 3[December 23rd].
Sony Pictures Animation will releaseThe Smurfs 3on July 24th, andHotel Transylvania 2on September 25th.
The newPeanutsmove will be out on November 6th thanks to 20th Century Fox animation and Blue Sky Studios.2015 marks the 65th anniversary of the debut of thePeanutscomic strip and the 50th anniversary of the TV specialA Charlie Brown Christmas.
Pixar’sFinding Dorywill see the light on November 25th.
