waved his last farewell.
Hoskins, known for playing sinister but seemingly ordinary British characters, from gangsters to detectives, died last night of complications from pneumonia. This comes nearly two years after Hoskins’ retirement from the film industry, as he was unable to continue working due to his advancing age and the tragic onset of Parkinson’s Disease.
Hoskins had an interesting and diverse film career, composed of dozens of great films. To this day that film remains beloved, and Hoskins will be remembered and revered for his impeccable work ethic and sheer brute talent for generations to come.
