Andrew Garfield, of The Amazing Spiderman fame, was seen showing off his sensitive side in Sydney when he was at Hunter Connect: Surfing for Autism event that teaches autistic kids to hang ten and shoot the curl.

For all you non-surfers, that lingo means the event teaches kids to surf.

It was Andrew’s idea to touch base,’ said Wayne Hampton member of Hunter Connect,  “[Andrew] was very specific in wanting to do something with a local charity that supported children with autism spectrum disorder in the surf.”

Garfield showed off his good side by supporting the kids and helping them throughout the day.  He kept his Spider Man name going when he brought out his special Spider Man surfboard to give the kids some tips and to show them the ropes.

Let’s see Superman or Batman do that.
