Nintendo and Adidas have teamed up for a partnership for this year’s World Cup soccer tournament, which is being held in Brazil. Adidas designed the uniforms that the Japanese National team, the Blue Samurai, will wear during the tournament. Nintendo will allow Pikachu and 10 other Pokemon to travel/represent Japan in the tournament as the official mascots of the Japanese national team.

Joining  Pikachu as official mascots are Squirtle( my favorite), Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Pancham, Helioptile, Litleo, and Meowth. The partnership will allow these Pokemon to be used in “FIFA related promos/advertisements.”

Each nation should be allowed to choose their “starter Pokemon,” but stay away from the fire type because most times the fire types starter has the disadvantage against the first gym leader but I’m getting off topic here.
