Jared Padalecki Explains Insensitive Tweets Following Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Death

Jared Padalecki recently came under fire after tweeting not-so-nice things about Justin Bieber during the raid on his home last month. Beliebers were up in arms after his tweets about their beloved “Baby” singer.

This time around though, rather than picking on what some would is a deserving, spoiled popstar…Padalecki took aim at an Oscar winning actor who lost his battle with drug addiction. While most of Hollywood was mourning a loss, Padalecki had this to say via his Twitter:

“‘Sad’ isn’t the word I’d use to describe a 46-year-old man throwing his life away to drugs. ‘Senseless’ is more like it. ‘Stupid…’” 
 
Needless to say, the insensitivty did not bode well for those who thought Jared was making light of a serious situation.  That tweet has since been deleted, but Jarpad did have these followups for us:
