The Tribes Of Palos Verdes is a forthcoming adaptation of Joy Nicholson’s novel of the same name for the big screen. Reportedly, the film has now found one of its main protagonists in the eyes of Jennifer Garner.
The film will revolve around the luxurious lives of people in the coastal cities of Palos Verdes. More specifically, it will tell the story of Medina and Jim, two teenagers who move there with their family. Insiders can now officially consider Jennifer Garner a main member of The Tribes Of Palos Verdes‘ cast, the teens’ mother. Maika Monroe and Tye Sheridan are alleged to have the leading parts.
Karen Croner will be taking from Joy Nicholson’s 1998 novel to write the screenplay, for D.J. Caruso to direct the film. There is no denying that Jennifer Garner’s inclusion adds a lot to the film’s potential. With young adult films coming and going, this one is definitely a release to look forward to.
