Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel Harris recently welcomed their twins, Zeppelin Bram and Arrow Rhodes to the family. The day after their birth, he posted a “Thing 1 and Thing 2” photo a la Dr. Seuss to announce the great news. Now, as a father of three, Ackles has also joked that the twins officially put him ahead of costar Jared Padalecki, who has two sons. Padalecki will “catch up” soon though, as he and his wife are expecting their third child this March.
Earlier today, Ackles introduced the twins to his Instagram followers. He posted a photo of the full Ackles clan, including older daughter, JJ. Check out the post below:
While Ackles is home with his family in Austin, Padalecki called him out on social media for leaving him up in the cold Canadian weather (where Supernatural is filmed).
“I hope you’re enjoying your nice, restful extended vacation Jensen Ackles!!! I’ll be up here in the frozen tundra they call “Canada”, holding down the fort filming #supernatural, with nothing to warm me up other than my ice coffee…” he posted.
Ackles promptly responded with a photo of the Austin, TX weather report, which showed nothing but freezing temperatures.
Currently on a hiatus, Season 12 of the series will resume on Thursday, January 26 at 8/7c. Supernatural was also recently renewed for Season 13 by The CW.
