It’s never a surprise when we hear about a celebrity who is putting their talents to use outside their normal medium. Singers try acting, actors try singing, singers and actors launch fragrance lines.

Others try their hand in the fashion industry.

No one has been quite as far reaching in their success as Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen whose fashion empire is now worth over $1 billion. Not far behind though is Kimora Lee Simmons who earns an estimated $800 million annually from her three lines.

Lucrative endeavors have also been made by leading ladies Gwen Stefani and Victoria Beckham with their lines bringing in over $90 million each. Justin Timberlake, Sean “P-Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z all have successful lines as well; Jay-Z’s line brings in annual sales that average around $700 million.

Another singer-turned-fashion designer is Kanye West; the controversial singer debuted his first collection last year during Paris Fashion Week. The collection was well received.

Now Kanye will be lending his fashion “expertise” to a new line launching with A.P.C., as announced on their website this week. A.P.C. is the “Jean Touitou-helmed brand favored by hip Parisians and those who wish to dress like them,” according to The Huffington Post.

The collaboration has been confirmed but we’re not sure yet what to expect from the “Capsule Collection,” so mark your calendars for July 14 and check out A.P.C.’s website and Instagram to stay up-to-date with the project.
