Kelly Clarkson Forced To Cancel Tour Dates

Our dear Kelly Clarkson has been plagued with vocal strain and is under doctor’s orders to rest her voice.  How heartbreaking!  Fans are disappointed, but I hope they understand.  We wouldn’t want our original American Idol to permanently damage her beautiful voice.  The singer sent out a sorrowful tweet to her fans, “So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates.  This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice!” She also said this on her Instagram:

So, to recap: the shows that have been cancelled include:  Vienna, Virginia; Tampa, Florida; West Palm Beach, Florida; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Camden, New Jersey and Clarkson will be giving full refunds to fans.  While this is sad news, we hope she will get the rest she needs and come back with a vengeance. Kelly has been packing vennues since releasing her “Pieces of Me” album earlier this year.

She’s not the only singer to be plagued this year as Meghan Trainor has been in and out all summer due to vocal issues.  Get well soon, Kelly!  We will miss you but rest up!
