Despite the name of the song, we should all care about Demi Lovato’s new music video for her song “Really Don’t Care.”

The video starts off with Lovato on a float during the Los Angeles Pride parade, where she was the grand marshal this year, exclaming “her Jesus loves all.”

As the music starts pumping we get a glimpse of her float, which has tons of anti-hate signs, and see the crowd going wild as she starts to sing.

The music video cuts to people in the LGBT community as they dance and sing along with Demi. Different celebrities join in like Perez Hilton, Kat Graham, Lovato’s boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, and Cher Lloyd, who is featured on the track. Lastly we get to see Travis Barker banging away like crazy on his drums, backing Lovato in a small intimate concert towards the end of the track.

Despite the fact the song is a break-up song, Lovato makes sure to change it to an anthem in a way, about what some people may say about the LGBT community and showing that they “really don’t care” what they think of them.

You can catch Lovato on her new self titled world tour which starts on September 6th. She will also be performing at NYC Pride at their Dance on the Pier event in Tribeca on June 29.
