As a duo that have been together since 2012, Korbee have, since breaking away from Daniel Jones of Savage Garden with whom they used to write and perform, on more than one occasion, proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with in the music world. They have twice been the champions of Balcony TV’s Global Rumble and have also sold out the House Of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.
Now, as they continue on their musical journey, PopWrapped is delighted to spread the word about Korbee’s new acoustic video for their single, “Great Escape.”
The video itself is shot in black and white, and while so many other music videos today are full of sequences and often dependent on extras, this clip for “Great Escape” is beautifully simplistic and instead those allows those who view it to pay due attention to the harmonies between Tom and Jenn.
The duo have often been compared to the likes of Lady Antebellum and Fleetwood Mac and it’s easy to see why. In a world where rock music and heavy riffs often take precedence, Korbee prove that a track which is beautiful and melodic is just as worthy of success as any other, and they deserve all the praise they’ve received so far, with much more likely to come their way in the future.
