The promotion was announced earlier today with a short teaser video featuring “the other jolly guy in a red suit with a lap worth sitting on”. In the teaser, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool sips his (somewhat questionable) eggnog and tells us what’s in store. Everyday, from now until Christmas, 20th Century Fox is gifting the world with a sleigh’s worth of brand-spanking-new Deadpool clips and posters on a slew of different sites, all leading up to the premiere of the new Deadpool trailer, set to release on Christmas day.
And if today’s tasty treat is any indication, the fans are in for the same level of inappropriate, lovably immature humor that they’ve come to expect from the world’s favorite antihero. Channeling Jack Nicholson as the Joker, the Merc’ with a Mouth lets the world know just how happy he is this holiday with this new poster!
