Twitter has become more than just a social network. It has instead turned into the favored sounding board for disgruntled and angry stars. Twitter allows them to air their issues publically, well, as long as their issues can be voiced in 140 characters or less. It presents them with a captive audience of fans and sycophants just waiting to commiserate or troll.

Chrissy Teigen, who is engaged to R&B crooner John Legend, has always been a very active tweeter. Her tweets range from the ridiculous – like when she was imploring somebody from the CIA to call her and offer her a job – to the mundane – like when she is talking about her troubles with Super Mario Bros 3. Teigen also has no qualms about taking her issues with her fellow celebrities to the twitterverse.

This is an affliction that she continually regrets, as she told E! News on Saturday at the Guys Choice Awards.

“I mean, I’m very much in the heat of the moment and I say things that I’m feeling and then I’m like, ‘Why did I do that?’”. Teigen recently ranted via Twitter – and then swiftly deleted the tweets – about Jennifer Lopez’s entourage and J.Lo’s alleged diva behavior at the Chime for Change concert.

As soon as fans get a whiff of any of these happenings, they automatically assume that a feud has been born, cough, cough, Amanda Bynes, cough…

“Because you have to realize that, ‘Oh, now we’re in a feud?,’ No! It was never meant to be a feud, I like to share different aspects of my life, but now I guess I have to realize that sometimes, things are going to get twisted and be blown out of proportion,” the stunner pondered.

While Teigen recognizes that her unabashed tweets are pretty much asking for trouble, she expresses no desire to try and keep her twitter feed more P.C.

“I regret things all the time,” she chuckled. “I’ve never regretted not saying something. I’ve only regretted saying something.”

Thanks for clearing that up.
