UK band Muse announces World Tour for 2016 while on stop in at BBC Radio Two earlier this week.

Muse have announced they will embark on a new world tour in 2016.

While on BBC Radio 2 this morning, frontman Matt Bellamy revealed the news that the band will be touring their latest album, Drones, which was released in June. He described the show as ‘the most elaborate production we’ve ever done’, before promising that there will be ‘lots of flying things and [what will look like] real military drones’.

Only the European dates have been announced so far, with the tour kicking off in their home country of the UK but more dates are expected to be unveiled soon, for countries such as the US and Canada.

Muse are arguably one of the biggest bands in the world at the moment and their live shows are regularly lauded by the critics and public alike. Drones sold 73,000 copies in its first week of release in the UK and became the band’s fifth record to top the UK album chart.
