Matt Damon is all across the board this summer with roles ranging from Liberace’s love interest in Behind the Candelabra to the action packed science-fiction flick, Elysium. What’s being labeled as the fourth trailer to be released for the latter film just debuted online and is already creating a buzz.

“I try to show as little as I can,” director Neill Blomkamp said during an “Elysium” presentation back in April. “The thing is, if you’re a responsible, functioning filmmaker in the 21st century, you can’t spend a hundred million dollars and then try to behave as though you’re going to keep [the movie] wrapped under a blanket … I realize that you have to get it out there.”

The film, co-starring Jodie Foster, takes us to the year 2154 where Earth’s inhabitance are split in two; the wealthiest living on the super high-tech, utopian metropolis in the skies known as Elysium and the not so fortunate barely surviving on what’s left of Earth. The trailer begins to lay out the film’s plot and sets us up for some pretty epic action sequences.

Set to release on August 9, Elysium looks like a good bet for intense summer entertainment.
