One of the much-loved stars of HBO’s classy hit, The Newsroom, has commented publicly on the scandalous images she accidentally tweeted.

Alison Pill mistakenly uploaded a topless photograph of herself onto the Internet recently, then had to make light of the situation during an interview with Conan this week.

“It’s a fascinating story involving not knowing that my new Blackberry had a touch screen,” she explained. “And responding to somebody on Twitter like, ‘Oh, yeah, New York was great, it’s 9.30 on a Wednesday – also, apropos of nothing, here are my boobs’.”

Accidents happen and we can’t imagine how embarrassed the poor chick must have felt. Conan O’Brien coyly stated his shock that she would have taken nude photos of herself in the first place.

Alison replied, “I had one of those pictures on my phone because I had been away from my, at the time, fiancé [Jay Baruchel] and we had spoken on the phone the night previous and… anyway!”

“And now I’ve realised just how dumb and so embarrassing. So hideously embarrassing that for about three months after it happened, any time I met a new person I’d just reach out [to shake their hand] and be like, ‘Boobs! Haha! Nice to meet you, you’ve seen my boobs!’”

Hopefully viewers won’t remember the pic for too long, as The Newsroom is returning next year for a third season.
