Calling all Directioners!
If you have been having a sucky week because of the school year starting, or have just been having a dreadful day, what I’m about to tell you will turn your frowns upside down.
This is Us has done so well at the box office, Sony Pictures has decided to give us a little gift.
What is it, you ask? It’s an extended cut of the movie with an additional 20 minutes of footage and four additional songs. The extended “fan cut” will be released this Friday and it seems like we get to have a final decision of what four songs we would love to hear.
Jeff Blake, Sony’s Chairman of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution said, “We’re overwhelmed by the response to the film, we’re so thrilled to be able to release this extended cut of the film for One Direction fans.”
Followers can reach out on Twitter at @1DThisIsUs with the songs they’d like to hear in the film – and go to theaters on Friday to see and hear which songs made the cut.
So, Ladies and Gents, if you weeped, sobbed, laughed or fangirled all over the place watching the regular version, it’s obvious that you will be ten times worse if you go and see it this Friday.
What songs will you want this extended cut to include? What cute moments do you think should be featured? Oh! And another wonderful thing about this new extended cut is that it lands on the 20th birthday of One Direction’s Irish lad, Niall Horan.
