Starting today and running through Sunday, you can purchase the psychological thriller online ahead of the premiere. Instead of the normal price of $13, they’ve marked it down to $8, and can be found on both the US and Canadian version of iTunes.

The award-winning independent psychological thriller, starring Judd Hirsch and C.S. Lee,  has secured a 10-city national distribution, starting November 20th.

Altered Minds takes place during the 1960’s and 1970’s, when there were reports of the U.S. government conducting mind altering experiments on its citizens – acts where the lines of science fiction and reality became blurred. Inspired by these events, Altered Minds harnesses the talents of an all-star cast, including Judd Hirsch as Dr. Nathaniel Shellner, a Nobel Prize winning psychiatrist, (who’s dying of cancer) has come under the scrutiny of his son Tommy. He believes his father conducted psychological experiments on himself and his siblings, raising all sorts of questions about their family’s patriarch. Is the good doctor a monster? Is the family’s house a torture chamber? Are Tommy’s visions fragments of his own mental instability, or is it PTSD left over from his childhood?

Altered Minds shines brightly with performances that takes you on a journey through dark secrets and the impact they have on individuals and their loved ones, so be sure to catch it on sale this weekend!
