Patrick Stewart is a man of many talents, but now it seems that Stephen Colbert has shown us just how amazing this man can be. Basically, they did a parody on Waiting for Godot about Trump’s replacement plan for Obamacare, and it was glorious.

Never in a million years did we think we’d hear Sir Patrick Stewart say “Grab ’em by the p****,” yet here we are. For those of you who are not theatre nerds or were subjected to this play in English class, it is a wonderful piece by Samuel Beckett.

In the play, these two men, Vladimir and Estragon, are waiting on a man called Godot. The entire play is set around them waiting around with a few people coming to visit. And, every day, they do the same thing over and over again.

In Colbert’s version, they’re waiting for Trump’s replacement to Obamacare. And, boy, are the digs Patrick and Stephen send his way impressive — especially because this joke is probably one that would go right over Donald Trump’s head.

Honestly, kudos to Colbert for making this amazing sketch. He saw the opportunity with Sir Patrick Stewart on his show, and he ran with it — as one should when Sir Patrick Stewart is on your show and willing to do something as crazy as this.

After all, it isn’t that surprising that Stewart was willing to bash the president. He is becoming a United States citizen just to try to take him down. I say let’s break our own rules and make Patrick Stewart president.

But, needless to say, this was just a great use of a guest and a great segment on the show. And it made all us theatre nerds across the United States happy for just one minute.
