A new pilot is headed to NBC soon which stars Harry Potter favorite Rupert Grint. It has been reported that the show has received a 'put pilot order'.

Here’s news I’ve been eagerly awaiting since the end of the Harry Potter saga! Rupert Grint will soon be returning to our screens, and, this time, it will be for an unnamed pilot for NBC that is considered a “put pilot order,” which means, if the pilot isn’t picked up by NBC, then the company will face a penalty.

Grint will star in the series as the main protagonist and will also be onboard as a producer; Silvio Horta (Ugly Betty) and Aaron Kaplan (The Mysteries of Laura) are the show’s executive producers, and Horta will pen the script as well. The one-hour drama centers around Grint, who plays a “low-level employee from New York who is obsessed with Imperial City, a comic book series created by his father prior to his death. He believes he has every issue ever created, but is thrown for a loop when he uncovers an additional issue in the possession of a mysterious comic book collector. Soon, Grint’s character discovers the world of Imperial City is very real — and only he can save it.”

The plot is both mysterious and intriguing; it’s garnered my interest, and I simply can’t wait to see Grint in action once more!
