Pixie Lott is preparing for the release of her first ever best of compilation, Platinum Pixie – Hits, and the first piece of new material has arrived in “Caravan Of Love”. The songstress has not only dropped the song itself, but she also premiered the accompanying music video.
The Housemartins first officially released “Caravan Of Love” back in the 80’s and the songstress does the tune justice with her cover. Pixie Lott is using her rendition not only as a greatest hits cut, but also as a charity single, for helping Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The cause is to bring in money for a new research facility at the hospital. A lot of other celebrities are participating in the charity as well, including Britney Spears and Justin Bieber.
The visuals find Pixie Lott as part of an interactive book, with lots of different people included and various lyric bits of the track appearing here and there.
