A prequel for the Doctor Who will be available on the BBC’s red button service. Following the Neil Gaiman written “Nightmare In Silver”, the prequel will be available from 7:40 pm until midnight every night until the finale “The Name of the Doctor”.

The prequel is three minutes of the Doctor and Clara speaking directly to the camera as they consider how little they know about each other. 

Well that’s an understatement.

The “Name of the Doctor” will air at 6:30 pm on BBC One in the U.K. and 8 pm on BBCAmerica in the U.S.
