Roger Waters has given an interview with Rolling Stone magazine which touches on his very emphatic views on the 2016 Presidential candidate.

With his upcoming concert film Roger Waters: The Wall playing in theaters on September 29, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters sat down for an exclusive, in-depth interview with Rolling Stone. While discussing the film, the subject somehow took a wild turn towards Donald Trump:

He is pig-ignorant and he always was and he always will be. He lives in the illusion that he’s admirable in some way. He stands for everything that is not admirable in American society.

Among other things, Waters describes Trump and his ideas as “the epitome of anything that might be considered bad,” “entrepreneurship gone wrong,” and “American exceptionalism gone crazy and delivered under the umbrella of absolute ignorance.”

On Trump’s plan to build a wall across the Mexican border, Waters comments:

There were millions of Native Americans and you killed them all. So the idea where, oh good, we’ve got this huge very rich thing, we’re going to keep everybody … no you’re not. It’s a joke. There’s no possible way. It’s called osmosis. Human beings will travel.

The complete interview with Waters about the upcoming film and the entirety of his comments on Trump is set to be published by Rolling Stone in the very near future.
