Ryan Seacrest seems to be everywhere right now. He’s a Radio DJ, hosts American Idol, and he’s just started his own game show.  However, the show was not as successful as he may have hoped.

It would seem that his show, Million Second Question, caused more confusion than enjoyment. Many of the viewers didn’t actually understand how to win any money, and it is unclear how much money can be won.

The premiere of MSQ managed to secure 6.5 million viewers, with only a 1.7 share in the 18-49 age range.

It doesn’t help that when Seacrest appeared at a NFL opener last Thursday, he was booed by the stadium full of fans while promoting MSQ.

Also, there are concerns regarding the popularity of the new American Idol season. Last season had, for the first time ever, less than 20 million viewers tune in for the finale. More worrying though is the 40 percent drop in overall viewership of the last season.

So overall, it was not a great week for Seacrest. You can catch the rest of the MSQ season on NBC for the next two weeks; the finale will air on September 19.
