Ariana Grande has dropped a new lyric video for her single “Baby I,” and it’s just as sweet and simple as the track itself.

The actress/singer turned to Twitter to address the video premiere, “The official ‘Baby I’ lyric video is out now, hope you enjoy!”

Grande blew us away with her collaboration with Mac Miller, “The Way,” and has knocked us off our feet with this new track. “Baby I” has put the 20-year-old on our radar, proving herself to be a power house vocalist, with a soulful sound that separates her from other artists.

Idolator.com provided a behind-the-scenes look at the full version of the video that will drop soon, and it shows Ariana looking all grown up and even swapping some smooches with real-life boyfriend Jai Brooks.

She’s already been drawing comparisons to Mariah Carey since her cover of “Emotions,” and the similarities continue both vocally and visually as Ariana appears to be drawing inspiration from Mimi from behind the scenes looks at her “Baby I” video, reports AceShowBiz. We can’t wait for the music video for the single to be dropped so we can fangirl just a little harder over the Sam & Cat stars undeniable talent.

JustJared reports that Grande has joined the 18th Annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day line up. The event will kick off the US Open.
