The state of Utah is a very conservative place and Judy Cox certainly does it justice.
She was shopping with her son when she saw in a store’s shop window “indecent and pornographic” kinds of T-shirts. Wanting the inappropriate clothes gone, she bought all of them for $567.
After this big shopping spree, she went to complain to the store manager, who reported it to her district manager.
Not being satisfied, Cox also complained to the mall manager, who said that she was not alone in her complaints. She has met with the city attorney, but she hasn’t gotten an answer on whether or not the store broke a law, because the process could take weeks.
Cox says she’s going to return all the shirts and will let the store’s office “figure out what to do with them when I return them on day 59 of a 60-day return policy.”
The store CEO, Gary Schoenfeld, said that “the company takes pride in the clothes and products it sells… While customer feedback is important to us, we remain committed to the selection of brands and apparel available in our stores.”
The shirts are a part of the “Visual” line of clothing currently being sold at PacSun.
