Congratulations are in order for Candice Accola, star of The Vampire Diaries, on the announcement of her engagement to boyfriend, The Fray’s guitarist, Joseph Aaron King on Wednesday 29 May.
The actress took to Instagram to announce the impending nuptials posting a pic of herself with her fiancé. The picture showing off her stunning engagement ring was captioned “Cheers from the future Mrs.&Mrs. Joseph Aaron King”.
And if fans were in any doubt at how thrilled the couple were at the latest development in their relationship, the picture Accola later uploaded of the adorable couple simply captioned, “Happy…” dispels all qualms.
Accola’s Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev could hardly contain her excitement at the news and was quick to offer congratulations to the couple and it seems claim credit for setting them up, jumping onto her WhoSay page reposting the “Happy” picture and saying:
“DYING RIGHT NOW! SO excited/thrilled/happy/hyperventilating over ur engagement! #matchmadeinheaven I mean.. #matchmadebynina.”
The excitement apparently still hadn’t died down for Dobrev as she later took to Twitter asking Accola: “What colors are we thinking for the bridesmaids dresses? Bc yellow isn’t a good color on me…:P haha.”.
Accola will return for the fifth season of The Vampire Diaries in the autumn. King’s currently working on The Fray’s fourth studio album, Paradise?, which is set for an autumn 2013 release.
