Today’s audience is used to reboots, from Andrew Garfield taking on the role of Spiderman to Henry Cavill donning the cape of the Man of Steel.

Even classic television shows like The A-Team have been rebooted for the big screen. And speaking of The A-Team, rumor has it that one of the stars of its big screen remake may be taking on the role of a much bigger and more iconic character.

That star is none other than Bradley Cooper, fresh off his Academy Award nomination. Cooper is said to be vetted to play the role of the title character in an Indiana Jones reboot.

But is he worthy to don the fedora made famous by Harrison Ford?

There is no question that the guy can act, and he has proven his star power in the box office. But will the fans accept him if he does get the role, or will he cause another twitter meltdown like what happened with Ben Affleck?

Apparently though, Disney has announced that a potential movie is still two or three years away, so that question may not be answered soon.
