The Woman Who May Take Sean Spicer’s Place

Will one of The Five’s hosts leave Sean Spicer out of a job? Hopefully. He needs to pursue his other talents (e.g., comedy), instead.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, a host on The Five, could take a stand.

She’s rumored to be White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s replacement. Before Spicer was hired, she had been considered for the pressing job. However, her contract with Fox News put her on a different career path. “Kimberly is a valued member of the Fox News primetime lineup, and is under a long-term contract with the network,” a correspondent explains. Guilfoyle spends her time on the show advocating for Trump, and she’s made no qualms about her avid support for the president. She’d just love to be more than his cheerleader, though. “I’m a patriot, and it would be an honor to serve the country. I think it’d be a fascinating job, it’s a challenging job, and you need someone really determined and focused, a great communicator in there with deep knowledge to be able to handle that position,” she says.

For now, Guilfoyle seems to be stuck on-air.

However, who knows what the future holds? Since his inauguration, Trump’s kept up his The Apprentice appearance. He’s been firing people left and right. From the White House’s first, female African-American usher to the FBI director, Trump has no problem making his demands known. Guilfoyle still has a shot. She just has to get along with Trump, but she sees that as possible. “If you want to be successful and do communications with President Trump, you have to be someone who he actually wants to spend a little bit of time with. You’ve got to insist on getting in front of POTUS, talk to him, and have like five, six minutes with him before you go out there and take the podium,” she says. Obviously, she missed her true calling. So did Spicer, though. He was never meant to be Trump’s press secretary.

He was meant to be on-stage … with Melissa McCarthy (Can somebody please make this happen!?).
