Louis Tomlinson of One Direction recently had a baby with Briana Jungwirth. Tomlinson and Jungwirth have been mum on the name of the baby boy, but Saturday, Tomlinson took to Twitter to say: ” I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :), He is healthy and pretty amazing 🙂 I’m very happy!!”

The couple did not date long, and it was not a serious relationship according to most accounts. E! News confirmed that the pair were expecting a baby back in July, and after the announcement, Tomlinson said on Good Morning America that “…it’s a very exciting time, so I’m buzzing.”

Tomlinson and Jungwirth were introduced by a mutual friend earlier in the year, and the pair was first spotted together in public at an album release party for Snoop Dogg. That was in May, and the current status of their relationship is unknown.

After the news of the pregnancy was announced, Liam Payne, Tomlinson’s One Direction bandmate, was interviewed by Magic Radio and asked about the blessed event. He said that Tomlinson was “very excited with what’ going on with him at the moment” and that he is “taking it very seriously.” He added that Jungwirth was a “lovely girl.”

None of the other One Direction members have made a comment about the baby since the birth, but Harry Styles shared a mysterious tweet that said “Flowers all around,” which is now thought to be a celebratory tweet for his friend.

Soon after the news of the baby arrived, Tomlinson was seen out in Los Angeles shopping. He was alone, notably not with Danielle Campbell, who the singer is supposedly linked to, romantically. Though the two have not confirmed that they are in a romantic relationship, Louis Tomlinson and Campbell have been seen together several times over the past few weeks, including being spotted together in London just before the New Year.
