Attention all Burn Notice fans: I hpe you’ve enjoyed the past six seasons of this series, as we have some news that may be unsettling. It has come to our attention that the seventh season of Burn Notice, which is set to air on June 6th, is set to be the last season. Burn Notice has officially shot their last episode of the series.
It was last summer that the lovely city of Miami had struck up a deal with the series. The producers of the show were given permission to continue filming at the Expo Center, but with a very large rent increase. After that, the show was told that they would in fact have to find somewhere else to film. I can’t help but ask, why would Miami make a mountain out of a mole hill when it comes to where a show shoots in your town? The amount of money they receive and the tourism that it attracts, it stands to reason that they have been benefiting from Burn Notice filming in Miami.
Even with filming problems, the shows series creator and producers decided that it was time to wrap it all up with the seventh season. The end of the series will bring about a fairly serious blow to the economy in Miami, which means that they stand to lose quite a bit of money now that the series is done being filmed.
