The characters from Disney’s Frozen will make a return to the big screen in 2015 with a new animated short from Walt Disney Animation called “Frozen Fever”.

During the “The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic” special on ABC, John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios, announced that the cast of Frozen will be coming back for a new animated short and a new song to be released in Spring 2015.

In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

“Frozen Fever” is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and produced by Peter Del Vecho, with an all-new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. “Frozen Fever” marks the first project reuniting the Oscar-winning original team from Disney’s “Frozen.”
