Much like what The Dark Knight trilogy did for superhero films, the Arkham games have been nothing but good for everyone’s favorite bat and the open world gameplay style as a whole.
Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Origins, respectively, have represented some of gaming’s cream of the crop throughout the 2010s. The impending Arkham Knights looks to be no different in that respect… except for the fact that now that everything’s in fully-realized next-gen HD, it’s looking even better than ever, ever before, and that’s saying something!
The trailer features a copious amount of in-game play that couldn’t be any more unbelievable to behold. Each time Arkham Knights Batman traverses the streets in his iconic Batmobile throughout its streets or chooses to fly solo above the cityscape, comic and game fans alike squeal across the globe. It’s just that awesome.
And how about that falling rain, huh?
Arkham Knights is currently set for a 2015 release worldwide. It couldn’t come any sooner.
