If you’re planning on breaking out of prison to go eat a burger, I suggest doing it quickly so you can get back to your TV. It seems that the Harold and Kumar movie series is getting an animated television adaption for Adult Swim, with original stars John Cho and Kal Penn voicing their parts.
This was announced last year, but recently, it was been confirmed by Cho that the writing of the pilot has been finished, and the next episode is nearly completed as well.
Cho, despite having his NBC comedy Go On canceled during this renewal season, appears to be doing great with his second Star Trek movie just released. And don’t forget his co-star Kal Penn, having his new movie Bhopal: Prayer for Rain shown at Cannes this past week, must be dying to get back to the small screen. As long as there is a dose of White Castle, hang gliders, and Neil Patrick Harris each episode, I’ll make sure to watch it.
