After every storm the sun eventually comes, and for Jeff Bauman, a man who lost both his legs in the bombing at the Boston Marathon, the sun is definitely out.
Bauman and Erin Hurley, his fiancee, announced that they are proud parents of Nora Gail Bauman. The message was posted to Bauman’s Facebook page, “Jeff Bauman — Boston Strong, True Patriot and Hero.” Baby Nora was born on Sunday, July 13th, and the entire family is “happy and healthy.”
Bauman became known after an Associated Press photo captured him being rushed away from the bombing scene by rescuers. He was also able to describe the accused bombing brothers to police following the attack.
