Keira Knightley Gives Birth To Baby!

Keira Knightley and her husband are proud new parents! The actress gave birth to a baby on Tuesday, May 26.

Congratulations are in order for Keira Knightley and her husband, James Righton of the Klaxons.

The actress  gave birth to her first child according to sources at E! News (May 26th).  No more details were given, however I am sure the happy couple couldn’t be more thrilled.

This is the first child for both James and Keira who met back in 2011 and held a small intimate wedding in on May 4, 2013.

The Imitation Game actress discussed her plans for the birthing process with Ellen Degeneres a couple of months prior to taking time off in which she said:

“There isn’t an option to sort of keep it in, is there?” she wittily asked  Ellen Degeneres. “So, I’m assuming my plan is to get it out. But apparently there’s more to the plan than that. I don’t know what that is. Still, my plan is to get it out. It will come out.”

Earlier this year, Keira discussed her pregnancy with talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, where she received hilarious baby diaper advice and even admitted to not knowing the sex of the baby at the time.

Ironically though, Keira shared her thoughts on why having a son maybe a bit “terrifying” when she spoke to Ellen.

She told Ellen, “Somebody said to me the other day, the problem with boys is — sorry, this is horrible — but when you’re changing their nappies, you can get the wee in your face.”
