While most eighteen-year-olds are still trying to figure out which career path to take, it’s safe to say that Kylie Odetta has no such worries.
Having already opened for Gavin DeGraw and Mat Kearney, among others, her talents, both vocal and instrumental, have won her an army of fans across the United States, and 2016 looks set to extend that fan base even further.
A gifted pianist, she creates music that moves people, making them think about not just themselves but others around the world and the experiences life gives us that can take our breath away.
Now, with a new EP, High Dreamer, due out on February 12, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere its lead single titled, “Can’t Erase It”.
The vocal and piano for the track, which beautifully shows off the voice that has earned her comparisons to Colbie Caillait and Corinne Bailey Rae, was recorded live in a single take, so taken was the engineer who heard her singing it during a vocal-warm up in the studio.
