Whatever you feelings are for Lena Dunham, they don’t matter here. Not to discount you or your experience but rather because this is about how Lena is hands down taking from me, what is mine. First, let me explain. Sometimes on Twitter we have ‘brands.’ They’re the tweets that are so very much us that you cannot mistake them. You see it and you instantly know who tweeted it. I’ve known what mine is for the last three years and I’ve stuck to it through thick and thin.
My brand is that I love Chris Pine and so I talk about him a lot on Twitter. Honestly, a pretty niche market up until the recent release of Wonder Woman. Which, let me be clear, I’m not complaining about. I’m glad you’re all on the band wagon and realize that Chris Pine is amazing. What I don’t like is that suddenly celebrities are taking my brand.
I’m not Twitter famous but I have enough of a following that people know to tell me when something happens with my boy. When he was hosting Saturday Night Live, everyone let me know what was going on the minute it was announced. And now, all the sudden, Lena Dunham decided to swoop in post manipulated pictures of her and Mr. Pine himself.
Am I just jealous because she’s famous and has the ability to meet him someday? Probably but also it is fascinating the amount of people who have sent me “she’s stealing your brand”. So much so that I offered to have a Chris Pine Battle Royale with Lena and she turned it down.
I’d like to have a “who knows more about Chris Pine” battle. News flash: It me https://t.co/W8H4VtWuaq

She’s a post Wonder Woman fan and that’s cool but she also dissed Just My Luck and that’s not okay by me. That movie is a gem and if Lena’s going to openly stan Chris Pine, she needs to learn the ropes.
