Last night was the 49th American Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. The show was hosted by country music stars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, and like all country music award shows, it did not disappoint.
Miranda Lambert continued her domination, and we got a nice little treat from a very non-country artist, Shakira, who performed with Blake Shelton. We got another treat when husband and wife duo, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill took the stage for “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s.” The crowd’s reaction was a clear indication that the country superstar has been missed. All in all, it was a great show. Not too many surprises, but very entertaining as these country awards always are.
