Halloween just got a lot less spooky this year. On Wednesday, Paramount Pictures announced that they will be pushing back the upcoming release date from October 24th, to a spring release of March 23rd, 2015 for Paranormal Activity 5. In addition to the change in release, Paramount confirmed the name of the upcoming sequel, Paranormal Activity 5: The Ghost Dimension
The studio further decided to shift the release date for Scouts Vs Zombies up from its mid march to an earlier date of February 20th. Not much is currently known regarding cast or plot, but it has been said Katie Featherston (from all 4 previous installments) will return to make an appearance.
Hopefully pushing back the date doesn’t damages it’s chances of becoming a box office success, after having luck with the October release dates utilized in the past.
