Can I get an Amen?!
Actually, that’s the title of the charity single featuring the season 5 queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race; in addition to it being one of Ru’s amazing catchphrases on the competition show.
RuPaul’s Drag Race, in summary, is this amazing reality competition show searching for America’s Next Drag Superstar. The drag queens who come on the show are expected to multi-talented marvels in a series of wacky, campy and bizarre challenges put together by the wonderful evil genius mind of RuPaul and his producers.
This week the queens recorded an 80’s inspired charity single entitled “Can I Get An Amen?” which is about the life changing power of drag. The song is equal parts heartfelt, weird and hilarious just as anything that comes from the show should be.

It is also available on iTunes for purchase. The proceeds of the single will actually go to charity. They will benefit homeless LGBTQ youth of L.A. So please go to iTunes and snap it up because it is a must have for any fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race but it is also hilarious enough for anyone who doesn’t watch the show to appreciate. Plus the money does go to an amazing cause.
