The first clip from the Doctor Who docudrama, An Adventure in Space in Time has been released online, promoting the Doctor Who biopic that premieres this week. As if Whovians didn’t have enough to look forward to in the next couple of days!
An Adventure in Space and Time will tell the story of Doctor Who’s inception at British Broadcasting Corporation in 1963.
David Bradley (Broadchurch) will star as the William Hartnell, who played the First Doctor. Brian Cox and Jessica Raine will play Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert (the original producer of the show), two BBC staff members who were central to creating the series.
The clip, which features Cox and Raine, shows the idea of an education science fiction show called Dr. Who beginning to take shape.

The biopic will air on November 21on BBC One in the UK and on BBC America in the United States. The fiftieth anniversary special The Day of the Doctor will air on November 23rd.
