Young Lee, the 49-year-old co-founder of the frozen yogurt chain Pinkberry, attacked a homeless man with a tire iron a few years ago.
In June 2011, he was found guilty of beating Donald Bolding with a tire iron. He also threatened a witness by saying. “I’m going to cut the throat of your mother, your wife, your daughter and you.” The victim supposedly showed a tattoo of a couple having sex in Lee’s car, which led Lee to drive back to Bolding, after he had driven away with one other man, who sat in the car while Lee attack him.
In November he was sentenced to “jail without bail” and will now serve seven years in jail.
Due to these proceedings, Young Lee is no longer working for Pinkberry.
