18 Shows Cancelled By Networks

Susan Booth

Staff Writer

The 2012-2013 television season has suffered many losses, and the list only really stands to get longer and longer. It still bothers me that the shows that tend to be good are the ones that don’t make it, and the ones that continue to suck are the ones that were basically being subjected to whether we like it or not. There is now a list of every show that has been cancelled.

I realize how upsetting it can be to see the shows you’ve grown to love be taken away, but try to understand that it’s the damn networks that can’t seem to make up their minds and they allow most of their series to suffer as a result. Below is a list of all of the shows that have been cancelled. Take this moment to go through and see if your favorite series has made the list.

Animal Practice: Poor Justin Kirk, no real luck landing a new gig after Weeds ended.

Deception: I never watched this show, so I can’t say anything in it’s defense.

Do No Harm: Clearly, the harm has been done in cancelling this show.

30 Rock: The cast will be missed.

Guys With Kids: I’m sorry to say, but I am happy to see this go.

The Office: I will always miss Jim & Pam!

Smash: This is not surprising, made more so by the fact that the network moved this series to a Saturday night timeslot, which is where shows go to die.

Up All Night: That’s what happens when one of the main actors decides to quit.

Whitney: This cancellation makes me laugh because this is now the second time this show has been cancelled. If it came back a third time around, it’s safe to say I will lose faith in humanity.

1600 Penn: With how many shows there currently are about politics and the like, it’s nice to see one less of them.

Made In Jersey: Forgive me, but WTF was this show about?!

Private Practice: Glad to see it end.

Partners: Okay, this was barely on for like two episodes!

Ben & Kate: Was sad to see this go. Damn you Fox Network!

Vegas: Wasn’t there a show like this with that model on TNT or something?

Go On: Yes, we will go on without you. LOL

Touch: This show will never touch your heart again.

Fringe: I heard this was a good show.

The Job: I don’t know anything about this show. Good job getting cancelled though.

The Mob Doctor: (In my Joe Pesci voice) It’s swimming with the fishes.

Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23: I was so mad when this got cancelled! Kristen Ritter is so funny!

666 Park Ave: If I want something supernatural, then I will just watch the show Supernatural!

Last Resort: Yeah….Bye.

Rules Of Engagement: A movie exists with the same name. That’s all I know.

Golden Boy: Not so shinny anymore.

CSI NY: Never been happier than to see one less procedual cop show!

Zero Hour: Talk about being a huge zero!

Emily Owens, M.D: Completely crashed and burned.

How To Live With Your Parents: With a title like that, it stands to reason that it wasn’t as funny as you’d think it would be.

Red Window: Nothing to say.

Body Of Proof: Time of death, right now!

The New Normal: Was too much like Modern Family.

Malibu Country: Okay, I’m not gonna miss this one.

Happy Endings: Seriously?! Why do all the good shows have to go?! Your gonna regret this one ABC!

90210: Balance has been restored in the universe! I am SO glad it’s gone. This is one of the worst TV reboots that I have ever seen.

Cult: That’s what you get for being too much like Supernatural and failing hard!

The following series have not been renewed or cancelled as of yet:

The Taste

The Neighbors

We will keep you informed when the list has be updated!
