2017 CMA Awards Nominees Announced

The 2017 CMA Awards are just around the corner, and the nominees have just been announced.

Nominations for the 51st Annual CMA Awards were announced Monday morning on Good Morning America, giving stars and fans alike a little something extra to be grateful for over the holiday weekend.

Leading the pack of nominees with five nominations, including Music Video of the Year and Single and Song of the Year, is Miranda Lambert. Keith Urban and Little Big Town also top the nominees list, each reigning in four nods for their contribution to country music. A surprising nomination came in the form on Taylor Swift, who broke away from her country roots in 2014 with the release of her album 1989, but has managed to draw in her 23rd CMA nomination as the writer for Little Big Town’s hit song “Better Man.”
