Jennifer Westfeldt, who is known for her work on 24, Grey’s Anatomy, and her most recent film Friends With Kids, will be guest starring on the award winning HBO series, Girls.
Westfeldt was spotted last week on the Girls set filming with Adam Driver at what looked to be a funeral scene. This week, HBO had confirmed to TheWrap, that Westfeldt would in fact be appearing in at least one episode. However, no other details about her character were revealed.
The hit comedy was officially picked up for its 3rd season back in January, after winning two Golden Globes, one for Best Television Series (Comedy or Musical) and Best Actress in a Television Series (Comedy or Musical).
Its 2nd season ended back in March and isn’t due to come back till 2014. It’s a long hiatus but the stars of Girls have been spotted working on filming their 12 episodes for the season.
